Not seen: A Trans Am. Loved the Cougars mixing it up with all of the Mustangs.

This is what my dreams look like at night. Just a constant stream of vintage racecars and screaming v8s.

That’s because they didn’t make TAs back in the ‘60s. Also, I didn’t say “Trans Am Tuesday” now, did I? ;)

They actually did make a TA in the 60s but not all of those cars were from the 60s anyway, note the second-gen Camaros in there. I was just pointing out the irony of GM making a car called Trans Am and not racing it in Trans Am.

The 1970 Trans Am is a pretty handsome car. Much better looking than the ‘69 in my opinion.

The irony was pontiac didn’t have a 5.0L engine so the Trans Am didn’t meet Trans-Am rules! Of course that didn’t stop Mopar with the Challenger T/A and Cuda AAR- they just destroked a 340 so they could go race!
